Their debut album was one of the best albums I've ever heard. It grows on you like crazy.

Welcome to 1998! j/k I love the SP (w00t, chicago!) and I actually remember when I bought this. I am PRETTY sure it came out like May 3rd 1998 or at least in the beginning of May because I got it the day before my 8th grade party thing where all the people came to sign yearbooks and stuff. I just remember sitting there listening to Adore. Needless to say, my yearbook was fairly empty It was well worth it though....

Adore had it's moments but a lot of it was just really dull songwriting. I can handle slow or mellow, but you've got to have a good song. It got worse on Machina, it was like Billy got so caught up in the concept he forgot to actually write good songs.
Basically, the longer it was since Billy stopped taking LSD, the worse the songs got.

And I hate to break it to you guys but Third Eye Blind suck, they just really suck. uber-benign. And they're assholes too, it's ridiculous. It's ok to be an asshole if you don't suck (Billy Corgan), but not if you suck. Did I mention they suck?
