Adobe to Purchase Macromedia

It was just announced that Adobe is going to purchase macromedia for a little under $3.5 billion in stock. The question here is, what does this mean for the future of digital media editing?

I wonder if we will see a Photoshop/Dreamweaver all-in-one web development package of some sorts. Perhaps even a new application combining elements of Macromedia and Adobe's flagship applications?

That'd be cool - but Macromedia was probably Adobe's strongest competitor . . ..

edit: the "cool reference was to the potential mixing of each other's flagship products.
