Adobe Reader - Copy Paste problems

there was an error while copying to the clipboard. an internal error occured

I see this from like half the PDFs I open.

I also check the document security:

Using latest version of reader.

Here is the solution:
Start the clipbook service in the NT service manager, open system32\clipbrd.exe, and delete all the contents, now copy from the pdf again.

Another way to fix this problem is to install Foxit Reader.

Are your problem PDFs from a common source?

It might be a cross platform encoding issue, though I do tons of cross-platform PDF stuff and have only seen that error a couple times.
