Adobe Premiere Elements Help Needed!

I'm working on a commercial for a school project, and I need to save my Adobe Premiere Elements file as an mpeg or some other file type that can be played by windows media player for the presentation it's a part of. Is there any way I can do this through Premiere? Any help is appreciated!

I'm also trying to play a portion of an mp3 in my commercial; is there any way to select the desired portion of the song using Premiere, or do I have to use a different program for this?

You can save a project as Windows Media or QuickTime.

Yes, you can edit the sound file in Premiere.

I do want to warn you that Premiere does have a steep learning curve. You might want to get a book or perhaps use something a little friendlier like MovieMaker
