Adobe Photoshop 5.5 Full retail owner, please help

This is going to sound like a weird request. My CD has become damaged and I was wondering if someone could FTP me or e-mail me the missing files. I suspect my son had something to do with it. Please send me an e-mail and I will let you know which folders and files I lost. Thank you very much.

I guess I could try. The folders I can't use are Stockart and Techinfo. Also, the autorun doesn't work anymore. I haven't used this forever and pulled it out to help a friend edit some photos for a webpage. The program still works fine, I just can't use those files.

you rarely use a $500+ photo manipulation/retouching program? Just for editing small stuff? Man I wish I was as rich as you.. 🙂

Seriously call Adobe tech help or something. I'm sure they will replace the CD....

Try polishing the cd with toothpaste, its worked for me. Those two folders have nothing to do with the application anyway, so editing your friends photos for a web page should be no problem right. You don't need autorun to install, just click on setup. Did your serial number get damaged too?😉

I'll try the toothpaste, too. I know it really isn't that big a deal, I would just like to have a CD that everything worked. The program itself and serial number, everything like that is fine, just those few folders give me errors. Also it's not being rich, I just have the horrible habit of wasting money. No games, just applications etc.

I wouldn't consider photoshop a waste of money. have to license copies myself. Legally to. 🙂

I can help you out with missing files. I still ahve my 5.0 cd 5.5 and 6.0.

Adobe will also replace your cd for a small fee has well. I had to do this myself with 4.0 :|
