I picked up an older version of Adobe Illustrator for pretty cheap. wanted to use it to make cd covers for some of the local bands out here. Up until now I've used Surething, I love the ease of use, and how it has templates for the cd insert paper I buy. I did up a few designs, exported them as 24 bit BMP. opened Surething, pasted them in the template. When I print, high quality glossy on my Canon ip4000, graphics look outstanding, text looks quite pixilated. My next step is going to be to make a layout page with the measurments of the paper templet. This is going to sound like a dumb question, but what's the easiest way to go about this? I'm use to programs that have built in templates where you open them up, paste the images in and BOOM. Right now I'm thinking I'll make small on screen adjustments and keep printing test pages until they line up with the inserts I bought.

It this a decent way to do it??
