Is there any way to disable Illustrator loading all the fonts in the WIndows Fonts folder & load only a few specific fonts, also which plugins are safe to disable & how can I disable them, I m Using teh standerd installation, but the startup is really slow
 
The process for controlling which fonts install and which do not is actually not hard.

Fonts

Basically you put all the "extra fonts" in a separate folder and leave only those ytou use in your regular Windows folder. You can change that at anytime.
