adobe gamma loader at startup

gopunk

Lifer
in my startup folder, there's a program called "Adobe Gamma Loader.exe". does anybody know what this does? is it important or can i get rid of it? thanks.

i was gonna ask the same question. that's so funny cause i just noticed it today.

i did a search on google and it looks like it's something from photoshop or something. do you have photoshop installed?

i also got a file name called PowerReg ShedulerV2. anybody know if they're related somehow?

edit: to delete it from startup can i just delete the file from the start menu or do i have to go through msconfig

yea i have photoshop 6, i figured it came from there, but i'm wondering if i need this at start up. is that other file in your startup folder too? i don't have it, so it probably isn't from photoshop.

well, i just reinstalled photoshop 6 a few days ago after installing XP. I think the other file might be from somthing else but i can't find anything about that
