yes unfortunately that seems to be the case, but they're aware of it and hopefully will fix it very soon. I am going to test out this version shortly.

They also did not yet release the new one for Internet Explorer. It had similar audio issues with distortion.

Thanks Chief...I'll check this out and see if it fixes my issues with FF 13.0.1 every time Flash loads.

Nope...still slows my system to a crawl anytime that Flash plugin loads.

Haven't had any more crashes of Flash however.

I have Chrome that can not handle Flash. Chrome is solid, the flash plugin crashes immediately. Been happening since I started using Chrome last Nov on a Win 7 system. Just before it locks up, it brings the browser tab to its knees.

Just got my first crash after the newest update just a little while ago.

This is a f*cking joke.

I'll give this a shot.

The recent update that brought the "sandbox" thing has the fun side effect of making the Firefox window lose focus whenever a Flash element needs to load, and it will also periodically lose focus after that if a page on another tab has any Flash elements in it.

Personally, this Sandbox feature is something not needed. At least give the user the option of turning it OFF .. most good Antivirus would find a problem with the video. And so far, I have not run across any bad videos.

This version of Flash 11.2.202.235 does not have the sandbox (which started in 11.3) and works perfect with both Video and Audio .. Another case of some software engineer changing something that was working fine.

Uninstalled my old flash and installed 11.3.300.262. Now if I look at any page with flash on it my browser will lock up. The only way to close is to shut off the process in the task manager. Anyone have a clue as to why this is happening? I'm using Firefox 13.01 from a clean install.

Tarvain ... best bet is to install version in my post above. All versions of 11.3 have problems

I was thinking the same thing.
Wasn't that the point of the plugin-container.exe file within Firefox?

Firefox has its own plugin detonation chamber. So are we going Inception on the plugin containment now?

Does everyone having the issue use Win7? I'm using XP and didn't have any issues with it.

Glad I found this thread. I figured it was because I was putting off updating my AMD graphics drivers for so long and the latest flash was having GPU seizures. My system has been using 90% CPU any time I open a flash anything in firefox.

I haven't seen any problems in XP. It's only windows 7 that's having the problem as far as i can tell, since it's related to the flash sandbox on there.

there is no link in this post

having audio issues on Opera, which is the same installer since it's for "other browsers" as opposed to the IE one.

It was not intended to be a link. But you can get the non IE version (32 bit) from here
http://adobe-flash-player.apponic.com/11.2.202.235-141412/

downloaded, double-clicked, and got this:
flash.jpg

Same thing for the IE version.

my Flash is so fuct right now. Firefox and Opera youtube videos don't have sound. And now IE for some reason.
