"ADOBE FLASH PLAYER REQUIRED" every time?

Hello,
I have another post in this forum, ( advice on a new GPU) but wanted to keep this one separate.

When I want to view a video on YouTube or play a music video etc., I keep getting this message,

"THE ADOBE FLASH PLAYER IS REQUIRED FOR VIDEO PLAYBACK. GET THE LASTEST FLASH PLAYER".

I have to continuously download this same "NEWEST" version flash player everytime.
( 11.4.402.278 )


Does this have anything to do with the Video card, or could this be a windows7 thing? thanks.

(thinking about upgrading to the PNY Quadro 600 for Photoshop and Studio editing, I am Not a gamerdude 🙂)

The good news is that this isn't a hardware issue, it's a software issue. So I've moved this to Software for Windows so that you can get better answers there

I had that problem too but only in Opera for some reason. Now I'm trying Chrome.

Which browser? Any add-ons? Did you try clearing the Flash cache through the control panel? Have you tried HTML5 option in youtube? http://www.youtube.com/html5

sounds like your Windows is fux0red up. Format it and start out fresh

Uninstall it, get the installer, install it, disable updates. Rinse and repeat weekly as new flaws are found. Or, install version 10 which does not change feature-wise and so rarely requires updating for security alone.
