adobe error "Actual error"

Getting error when trying to open pdf, it gets half way through then gives a adobe 8.1 error. Tried uninstalling everything adobe and installed adobe 9 reader and still get the same error. This is on a vista mechine. What gives?



"A serious error has been detected and Adobe Acrobat 8.1.0 proffessional cannot continue. Please reinstall the application and try again."

I'm trying to get it now. It is at a friends house. It was a simple error with no code, something like "adobe 8.1 encounted a error and must close". I will get exact error asap, thanks.
