Hello....

We have Adobe 4.0 here at work. We need to be able to use a search and REPLACE with text. We'll need to work with graphics as well as text. Can't find squat on Adobe's website and they want you to pay for the info. This isn't brain surgery....just need some info and would gladly purchase the product if I knew what the $#@& it was. This is for Windows.

Anyone have any ideas please?

Thanks.....

Adobe what 4.0? Start it up and read the splash screen or the Help>About screen...

However, Acrobat is probably what you're talking about, and there is a whole suite of products in that family. Other applications used for manipulating images and text include InDesign, the successor to PageMaker, and sometimes, Illustrator. Exactly what are you trying to accomplish? Different applications are of course better for different results.

And last I checked, you don't need to pay for anything to research Adobe products.

Hello Ladi...

Sorry....yes it's Adobe Acrobat. LIke I said we need to use a search and replace function. What we have...the 4.0 has the ability to search for text strings but not the capability to replace. SO this is what we're looking for. We need to be able to handle some graphics, but not extensively. So we don't need some high-end application that costs us $$$ when something simple will do.

Thanks....
