Adobe Bridge...

I use ACDSee for all my image viewing needs and I use Photoshop CS2. is bridge really necessary? I don't use it often currently (in fact, rarely) but I don't want to uninstall it if I'm gonna have to use it later. should I uninstall it?

Bridge just makes things easier if you're going to put meta tags for your images, Photoshop in no way needs Bridge to properly run.

its more of the bloatware adobe is adding to its applications.
I really like photoshop, but with each new release they keep adding more software that I don't want.

actually if you utilize it Bridge is very slick, I meta tagged images and I can find stuff so easy now, I have thousands of pics so finding them by manually looking can take forever. But typing "red Mustang" and finding the red Mustang picture is awesome.

Adobe bridge is useful if your a photographer or just have a very large collection of images; otherwise you probably won't use it too much, and yes the the keywords feature is useful.

i have a very large collection of images (i never delete anything and everything is backed up into my external drive). if i wanna use metatags, do I have to tag them all manually?
