Adobe 3d Parsing error

I just came to the website - it was taking much longer that usual to come up. Just as the site came up I got a pop-up box with a message:

adobe reader: a 3d parsing error has occurred

The problem is that I haven't used acrobat, it doesn't autostart, the speedloader isn't installed, and IE was the only app running.

It will vary by browser. Chrome and Firefox parse an attack site list. Chrome is all I have used today on this site and it throws attack site errors.

Same here. Something on the forums is triggering a PDF file.

FWIW, I'm in Toronto, Canada if that helps narrow down the source of the ad provider.

There were two flash ads present:

It's nonsense like this that is encouraging the use of ad-blockers.

When I get this message, the next thing that happens is that my computer is attacked by a virus, which is a "fake spy pro" varient(s).

It has happenned twice now right here on AT!
