The question I have is where are they? Where are the Weapons? Were they destoryed?

Some reports say 1994 - they were all gone

Some reports say 1998 - Clinton took them all out.

Did Saddam just play a poor game of poker?

Here is a question~ If a country was to say "We are going to nukes on the US" if the US doesnt provide trillions in aid.

The US refuses

They launch the nukes. What does the US do?

What if we retalliate with Nukes and then when they get here, they weren't really nukes but empty missiles?

And the country is now destroyed.

The country played poker and lost.

If Saddam played poker, bluffed and lost, what can we do?

Is the answer more ground infiltration? More agents sneaking into all countries getting real data?

What do we do?

but, but........ if we gave more time to the weapon inspectors........ oh wait, Bush had the military all lined up and ready for action. He was or thought he was past the turning point and had to attack or look weak to whomever he thought he would look weak to.

Data was inconclusive
Bush got some gumption
Bush got impatient
Bush made the weapon inspectors pull out
We attacked
We were wrong
Bush dosen't want to admit it

End of story!

was it the sneaking around crap that was inconclusive?
Bush had the brass to take care of something that had been stewing for over 12 years
Don't mess with Texas
They could have stayed!
We attacked
Saddam is out of power...his boys are dead...Iraq is free

You know...when you mess with the bull...you get the horns.

Saddam messed with the bull

Yeeee-Haww!!! Ride 'em, cowboy. We're the rootin'est, shootin'est, badasses in the world. We don't need no steenkin' laws. Don't cross us or we'll kill you and your children and your dogs. No one can stop us, 'cuz we're America, and we do what we damn well please.

How very civilized of you.

Really? I thought he was mostly minding his own business, trying to get us to leave him alone. In fact, we were (mostly) leaving him alone until Bush-lite couldn't find bin Laden. Suddenly, it was "forget al Qaida, let's go invade Iraq."

So tell us, how, exactly, was Iraq "messing with the bull"? By refusing to kiss Bush's butt? They even let the inspectors back in, and gave them effectively free access to everything they wanted. You can bet the U.S. wouldn't be so compliant if the roles were reversed.

Sorry Tex, but grown-ups don't resort to vigilante violence just because someone threatens their ego.

Yawn.

Exaggeration, disinformation, and convenient excuses, none of which has anything to do with the lies used to terrorize America into supporting Bush's invasion. Thousands of liters, massive stockpiles, UAVs poised to strike America's heartland, mushroom clouds, 9/11 -- any of this ring a bell?
