Well, Elton's been around for a long time. Which are you talking about? I don't think I've heard the stuff since he was knighted. His earlier albums rocked, seriously. When he was teamed up with Bernie Taupin on lyrics they wrote some great great stuff. He had great musicians on his albums, very very happening guy. I don't need a drink to understand these things.

when i was in high school i attended a party. (as you do) I got blind drunk, and this guy thought he would make himself look cool by kicking me in the stomach, next day i was hung over and coughing up blood

I know who the guy was, and i havent carried out required revenge ... yet
He graduated same year as my gf, so the reunion will be fun.
 
Elton John was awesome. Great performer. A lot of great rock stars are gay, though Elton is "flaming" gay.

i listen to his music all the time. i actually prefer that era of music than the garbage they spew out today. don't know what happened to musicians after the 90's 😕
