admin account not available... only a user account

i disabled the admin account so i would only have my account be active on the computer

but me being stupid, i forgot to add my new account that i created to the admin group

i've restarted in safe mode and NO accounts show up on the quick start screen, all it says is please choose your account

im running windows XP pro

any ideas on how to change this?

i suppose i could reinstall again but im looking for something that saves more time

edit: the reason i say i don't know how this happened is because i thought XP pro made it manditory that you have to have an active admin account

hit ctrl-alt-delete at the login screen.

yeah then the log inbox comes up... if i try to log in under the administrator account is says that the account is denied

Can you boot to safemode and do a restore? That might get the admin account back.

i've reinstalled since this thread but booting to safe mode did nothing

all it said was say choose your account to log into (on the start up screen)

and no accounts were under it
