ADHD Q: Is there anything like Adderall except without addiction?

I think i have ADD or something,
i can never focus on my school stuff for more than 10 mins straight....

I tried some of that addrall stuff earlier today and practicaly ripped thru 6 hours worth of calc pretty much in row. That stuff is insane... Its 4 am almost and im still doing calc (i finished my eecs stuff too) .

Has anyone been prescribed this? I heard some bad stuff about withdrawal syndromes and such...any info would be welcome
 
You basically have stimmulant meds:
Adderal and Ritalin, both come in various forms, time release etc...
Adderal has more "benefit" but makes you edgier.
Ritalin has less benefit, and makes you less edgie.
Any stimulant helps
Coffee will help, but it is also a diuretic, so it makes you pee all the time which makes you get up and walk away from your books
ephedrine helps some
Psudoephedrine also helps, possibly becasue it regulates the level of glucose in your blood

Cocaine will work wonders, but it is addictive, expensive, and illegal
Strattera is nto a stimmulant. You are supposed to see benefits after about a motn or mroe of useage. It causes incredible sexual disfunction, that may or may nto go away after a month of usage.

Wellbutrin helps to some degree, and increases your sexual function - more errections, better orgasms, ability to to it more times

Providgil (monafodil)- is a narcolepsy drug that also seems to help add/adhd folks

Being on an Atkin's diet will probably totally mess you up since you will have very little glucose in your blood
 
Shoots when I take my medicine it doesn't make me do homework like you say it does. It just helps a little but not a whole lot. You're lucky that it causes you to do all your homework lol.

My son had do discontinue the stimulants due to heart problems caused by them, so we switched him to Strattera. Worked for a few months then suddenly nothing. 🙁

He's seeing a neurologist now who is pissed at the psychiatrist who prescribed a cocktail of drugs for my son and wants him off most of them. Thank god. The neurologist is working with us to find better solutions.
 
Why don't you just suck it up, sit down, and do your goddamn work until it's done, like EVERYBODY ELSE IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD.
