Where does IE keep the site information for autocomplete? Been shopping for a ring for my gf and don't want her to stumble on the surprise...
 
You can turn off Autocomplete in, Tools >> Internet Options >> Advacnced tab, under 'Browsing' 3rd from the bottom.

You can also, just high light with the arrow keys, with the drop down box and hit the delete button.

 
Better off just clearing the history when done shopping (Tools | Internet Options -> Clear History)

yup that works to, but when i do it, i clear everything. auto compleate forums, history, cookies...all of it 🙂
