Additives

Seafoam. It's not really an additive in the sense of the word, but it cleans everything out. Some in the gas, some in the crank, and some down the intake will you get a nice smoke show, and clean internals.

Following the "myth" scenario...Slick 50 is the best thing invented since sliced bread!

(check yer sarcasm meters folks...)

I've heard good things about Seafoam, but have never found any reason to use it. The ONLY additives I ever use, is some occasional fuel injector cleaner in a tank full of gas.

a friend put dura lube in his 84 chevy truck with a 305. we were out tooling in the desert one time, poked thru the radiator somehow and came back with no water in the engine. sucker stayed at about 220 the whole time, never did overheat in the 30 or so miles we drove it back to his house. he had 180k on the engine at that point. im still not using it in my truck, but i always thought that was an amazing save.
