It's not malware issue at all. They're concerned about keeping their site "secure" from things like price-checking bots. They're not checking for, nor do they giving a flying "fig", whether your PC is infected with malware ...😛
 
It just a pain in the rear to have to do that every time I go to their site.

Do any of you have to go through it?

I do not delete cookies and I only get it the first time I go to the site after closing the browser window. I use Firefox and Chrome

Pretty much this.
If they are getting lots of hits from the same IP, or the IP is blacklisted, their detection goes off.
 
They use Incapsula which is a CDN (Content Delivery Network) that focuses on caching and security. It's like CloudFlare. This is where the captcha comes from. It's more than likely IP based.

If you are using your home IP, now would be a good time to make sure your router's firmware is up to date. Although that may not be the cause since IPs are shared by all good and bad alike.

It's not something I've ever looked into, but it often seems fairly random, and sometimes comes and goes over time. Not long ago, even Amazon was doing it every time I opened a link from another site, and since so many people use Amazon as general reference, it was starting to get really tiresome, but then it stopped before I got sick enough of it to stop bothering with the links... (ETA: Others' comments about ISPs hadn't occurred to me, but would cetainly explain some of what appears to be random-ness.) It also seems to depend to some extent on whether you navigate to a site directly or via a link from another site...

If I use your link that error pops up. If I just go to Menards.com ... it does not and I can browse the site fine (with Firefox 47.0.2 and AdBlock Plus)
