adding USB ports

i was wondering if anyone knew where i could the the little thing to add some more USB ports to the back of my case? My motherboard has the USB pins on the mobo but it never came with the things to plug it into the pins. i have a Biostar M7VIT lmk what you cna dig up for me thanks!

The manual doesn't contain the pinout for the USB headers on the board 🙁 I was going to check them against the pinout for the Antec EasyUSB, which goes in a vacant 5.25" bay and gives you two extra USB ports up front. Does your printed manual happen to show the pinout, because neither of the ones at Biostar's site do.

yea, its has 2 pinouts....so i could add 2 more USB ports or 4 if i wanted. i know there their because it has the pins on the mobo 😀. i just need the connectors. if you had some that would REALLY be great!

By "pinouts," I mean a little chart that tells the identities of the pins. On Asus boards, from left to right, they go power, data-, data+, ground, ground for instance. If your manual has a chart telling that, it would be useful.

That should work with the Antec EasyUSB since it uses that pattern. You would need to make sure you got the wiring on in the correct direction (power wire is red). There are other front-end panels available too, or you could just pick up a USB hub, plug it into a rear USB port and you're done.

Nope, gave mine to a co-worker so she could plug her PDA in without crawling under the desk... sorry! 🙁
