Adding second harddrive

i had a 80 gb installed on my computer then i took it off and i got a new harddrive.I want to reformat the old harddrive i had so i can have 2 harddrives. so in other words how can i add in a 2nd harddrive?

Assuming your new hard drive is installed and you're up and running, you just plug the drive in and boot. The operating system will see the drive with the old partitions on it, which you can then delete and create new partitions, or just format the existing ones. The old hard drive just needs to be set to either master or slave depending on which cable and which connector it's put on.

make sure you setup the jumpers right :)
