Adding PC2-5300 to PC2-6400

I have a Dell Inspiron 530 with a Q6600. This system came with 2 x 1 GB of PC2-6400 but I have two new 2 x 1 GB PC2-5300 DIMMs. Should I install the two PC-5300 DIMMs with the consequent lowering of the bus speed or spring for two new 1 GB 6400 sticks? How large is the performance hit in going from 800 to 667 Mhz?

Thanks,
Joe

I was in the same position, and it really didnt make much of a difference in performance. Any performance loss will be made up several fold by the extra 2GB of ram.
