adding more rams

So i have 2x512mb of mushkin cas 2.5 rams on my computer. I've oc the cpu and it runs great. I spotted this great deal on 2x1gb rams cas 3 and want to purchase it. Can i run 2x512mb of mushkins ram along with the other 2gb ram of differnt brand?

Check your motherboard manufacture to be sure, but I would say yes, but im pretty sure you can't run in dual channel mode that way. I could be wrong.
