.. but do they work?

Reason I ask is I am looking at some Milwaukee Miter Saws (can get them at cost) but none feature a laser and I really love the laser guides (once you use one its impossible to go without).

Anyone use one of those "addon" laser guides they market?

I've never owned a lasered saw of any sort. I just rely on an accurate mark and a squared blade. I did use a friend's Craftsman miter that had a laser....I cut that board 3 times and it was still too short....

Edit: Found this on the Laserkerf aftermarket laser. Seems like it had a good review.

yeah I guess its just a matter of what you're used to though too. I'm sure I could survive either way. But if those laser addons worked, I'll be game. I'll check out that review.

My miter saw has a laser and I have learned to add 1/8" to everything because the laser is not perfectly set with the blade.

I think what he meant to say, is will you get me(Turin) some milwaukee stuff at cost?

Can't do... but if I was smart I'd just start selling the stuff online.
