Adding infrared to notebook

Is there any way to add infrared capabilities to a notebook? I'm thinking of using a notebook as an HTPC to capture video and act as a DVR. I have an IR remote from a Windows media PC, but the notebook doesn't have an IR port. Is there an add on device I can use? Bluetooth remote?

I don't know where you can find one, but there are IR receivers just like what you're looking for.

Closest thing I could find, but it comes with a remote. HP bundled IR receivers and remotes with some desktops a few years back, so it might be worth a shot to see if they sell any spares.
