Will just any normal 80mm fans work or do you have to buy certain antec approved ones? Are all fans the same or are their better 80mm fans than others? What's the best quiet/perfomance/price ones out there, and where do you get them??

You can stick any old 80mm fan in there. And yes some fans do push more air then others.

I think if you want quite/performance, most people will recommend panaflos

you can get them from teamawe

except these don't have any kind of connectors to the wires... you'll have to solder them yourself or build a fanbus

Any 80mm fan that is 25mm thick will fit. The selection is endless. There are many good brands, Panaflo, Sunon, Adda and some others.

These are all reputable. If noise is a concern, stick with fans rated below 30 Dba. The sx Antecs "breathe" well, you don't need powerful fans, especially if you are using 4 of them.

i'd personally recommend the panaflos

that is unless of course, you don't care about noise :p

Jesus... I thought I wouldn't really care about the noise... so I just went ahead and ordered two more 80mm Antec case fans from Outpost.com... that thing sounds like a jet engine now... now I gotta figure out which fans to buy, or which ones I can disconnect... 4 fans I think is overkill...

I think that having 4 Panaflos is better (noise and CFM wise) than have 2 Sunons. That's one reason why I bought the 1030 is because it has more fan mounts than my old case.
