Adding CC with PayPal is BS

I just wanted to add a CC to my account and it told me they couldnt veryfy it... ???... so i have to confirm it by letting them charge $2 which would be refunded to my account later... not to my CC. Uh huh. I tried to add another CC and its the same thing. Forget that then. Geez... they just hate credit cards huh... they must be taking a big hit.
 
I just signed-up with Paypal the night before last, used a credit card to pay for an auction that I won. Took me 30 seconds to get authorized.

They should let you use it right away, but also want to verify it so you can be called "Verified". It's an added security measure.
 
I think it only applies when you want to add more than one. I already had one on without any problems... but I tried adding two and they gave me this crap. 😱
 
Hi,

Credit cards go through a stringent screening process (to protect our user base). If you can't verify it by traditional methods, you will have to go through the confirmation process. I realize it is inconvenient, but these measures are in place to protect users from credit card fraud.

I understand that but I've added these same credit cards before, I just removed them from time to time when I don't use my account for awhile just in case. I just find it odd. Thanks anyway.

Ahhhh i see... even if they're the same cards? and even if no complaint about them was ever made? But it has my name on it!?... 😕
