I wouldn't doubt its validity; if you've ever read one of those body modification trade mags people do some really fscked up stuff to their bodies.

Its a farce.

There are not many pics to see, the finger one obiviously looks fake, there are no reports of them outside of BME, and the weight of that arm hanging limp without bone attachment....

#1) Would rip itself off.
#2) Over time the muscles will atrophy and shrink, looking sickly.
#3) Will turn a pale blue due to lack of blood circulation.
