Adding a slideshow to a site

I was thinking flash originally, or maybe just media player. It would just be a link leading to this slide show, so no special integration requirements. Any advice much appreciated!

If you are creating a slideshow in PowerPoint, then just use Save as Web page. It will create a single-page slideshow with .htm extension and you can host it and link to it anywhere.

I've used SlideShowPro (flash control) with some success. It's not an arm and a leg, but it's not free.
