adding a hard drive question...

I want to add another hard drive to my present system, the hard drive im adding has an OS already on it, is there anyway i can add it and be able to boot to it as an option?

It would probably be easier to add it then reformat with a new OS (or the same OS)

You could boot to it, though whether the OS will work in your system is another question. May not have the right drivers for your hardware and it may fail to boot the OS.

Yep, and if you want the OS to be selectable from the bootloader (instead of from the BIOS boot priority), you will have to do some trickery.
