I am wanting to add a 30 gig hard drive to my HP computer, it is a 333 mhz. Celeron. I wanted to know if anyone knew if it would handle that big of a hard drive? Or would it be too slow?

It should be fine. I don't know if you can update the BIOS on that HP, but if you could that would help.

it will be fine

you can have 100gigs in a 486 if you wanted, as long as the mobo supports the interface

The processor is not the limiting factor, many older Mobos will not see over 8Gb, that is what you need to check.

Look to see who is the maker of your motherboard. When it boots write down the BIOS version that you have. Go to the motherboard vendor's website and see what version they are up to and also see if the newer version (if there is one) adds support for large hard drives. Be careful when flashing BIOS and don't attempt until you know exactly what to do. Good luck.
