Adding 2nd video card (not Crossfire or SLI)

Just curious if this can be done. I'm currently running a dual monitor setup using an ATI Radeon 4800 (both monitors connected via DVI). My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3R. I'd like to add my LCD TV as a 3rd monitor so I could output Windows Media Center to the TV while still using the dual monitors for regular computer work. Can I add another ATI card (PCI Express) and connect the LCD TV via HDMI? Obviously, this wouldn't be a Crossfire setup, just two video cards powering 3 monitors.

Yes it shouldn't be a problem, i did this for a while with 8800 GTX + 7600 GS to power 3 monitors.
