Addicting Robot Unicorn Attack Game

I think you can turn off the music by adblocking:

Without the music, it's much easier to hear when a new star is appearing. Result:

Wish 1: 21316
Wish 2: 24398
Wish 3: 19210
Total: 64924

Once it gets much faster, good old screwy Flash physics start to show up again. The usual result is that what would be a crash near the top of the screen will result in the unicorn appearing near the bottom of the window and either crashing into rocky formations down there, or else it just falls off the screen.

I hate to say it, but this picture is spot on

I just realized that the faeries that show up at almost every jump do something. Catch one, it does something involving 10 to your score, maybe 10 points? then if you dont miss the next faerie, 20 pts. Then if you dont miss, 30, and so on. If you miss a faerie it goes down to 10 the next one you catch. Interesting.

Same thing with stars. 100 point increments but if you miss one it is back down to one hundred.

After I realized this my points score has gone up. Highest though is still only 42k.

I think it depends on how much time passes between star-hits. I've missed two in a row already, but the next one picked up where I'd left off, and not at 100.

But then, my score for that particular wish was already over 20000, so I was moving pretty damn fast. 🙂
My best score for a single wish thus far was a little over 25000. But that's with the semi-cheat of "muting" the music with Adblock. It's much easier to hear the formation of new stars that way, so you know that you'll likely be jumping or dashing in the very near future.

33.3k was highest I could get. Game is frustrating. It starts going so fast that the stars don't even appear in time to press X to destroy them. So lame. >_< I have always hated games like this because it doesn't allow for planning at all. (i.e. stars being above you or below you on two paths, it's just chance you get one)

I could deal with that if the "level" wasn't also randomly generated. The combo makes it a twitch game which I've never been very good at.
