Added 2nd HDD problem

I just added a 2nd HDD to my PC. It is recognized in the Bios for the MoBo but for some reason it isnt being picked up on Win XP.

Bios has Primary as Seagate 200gb and Slave as the Maxtor 120 thats how I wanted it but when I go to check it out in Windows XP its listed under the hardware profile but it doesnt show up under my computer.

Anyone have any idea's?
 
Try going to Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > Administrative Tools > Computer Management, and in the Computer Management console, go down to here. The drive should be listed. Right-click the white bar that represents its capacity, and you'll see where to go from there 🙂
 
Thanks. I think I got it on the run now. I never partitioned that drive after I wiped it clean. I used the the process of partioning it in the place you listed above.
