Add shortcut operator with a script?

I have a domain distributed application.

However after the installation I need to add an operator after the path of every installed shortcut for it to work properly.

So it would be in the form of "Full Program Path" -Operator
I can easily edit the shortcut, but I have to get to every machine and do it.

The shortcut is always on the all user desktop and has the same name.

Can you tell me simplest script I can apply through group policy to do this?

Thank You

I just found a really easy way.
Since the shortcut is the same or nearly the same in every case, I can just create the shortcuts in some centralized location and then move it to the desktop when installed.

I would like to be able to change the shortcut if possible, but I think this should work.
