Add Memory

I have an AMD FX-6300 6 core processor. I have 8 gigs of memory. I'm wondering if I add another 8 gigs of memory the cmputer will perk up.

It depends on what and how you uae the computer.

If you keep large amount of Apps open and running, or and do heavy gaming, or other heavy computer chores, then upgrading Memory will Help.

Not much will speed up a ten year old processor. I'd save the money toward a new MB/CPU combo.
