I have an audigy, is it worth puting in the P4B533-V as the mobo allready has sound? lighted cpu load?
What about NIC, seems the internal nic has all these weird intell items runing in the backround.

this is debatable i suggest you listen at a local shop as everybodys ears are different

my opinion is i hate built in sound but thats biased from an older system and in gaming the audigy rocks

as for the nic i like my intel pro but i really can't tell a difference over built in as i have both

if the intel stuff running in the background bothers you then by all means change it

hope this helps

If you have the free slots and don't have any immediate plans for them then I say go with the expansion cards, particular where the soundcard is concered. On the network card side it's up to you really, for the systems I build for home/business networks I use onboard lan 99% of the time and find it just as fast.
