I am using the "VB Style (Experimental)"
Still have to do weird things to even login since login does not show up on the first page that is served.

You're not seeing a login button on https://forums.anandtech.com/ ? Weird, i just tried changing themes & i can see it using the VB style.
There are a lot of people using that theme, seems odd no one has brought this up before.
What browser?

Browser is Firefox 49.0.2.

I have to scroll up and down to get the login button to appear.

Before that the top is just all (bright) white space.

Hmmm, you're right. I just updated to FF 49.0.2 from 47.0.1 today & was able to see the login at the top of the page before.
Now, in the VB style theme i had to scroll to the bottom of the page & click on the "(You must log in or sign up to post here.)" button.

I bet a lot of people just stay logged in & don't see this problem.

I'll bring this up in the theme thread & see if Ken can fix this.
