Add a First Posted (date/time) Column?

Hey all,

I was just thinking it would be helpful to have a "First Posted: xx/xx/xx" column for thread titles in the forums. I know it has this info if you read a thread, but this might make it easier to sort... what do you all think?

The information would be useful: I'd like to have this in mind when I view the heading, particularly in Hot Deals and For Sale where old posts rarely have an life left to them, but folks return to haunt the scene for weeks.

I don't think another column is necessary, nor the full time/date: add it as reduced-size Month/day under the Last Post date (which is already reduced size).

I doubt this would add appreciable DB loading as the datum would be fetched with the header text, along with link-heads. I presume the Load lays in the I/O of coping with the DB text and the ever-growing links.

Its screen real-estate, we aren't interested in adding any more columns at this time.
