Add a cheap gpu for 3rd display?

I just got a GTX460, and it's working great. I have 2 displays hooked up to it (HP W2207 and 42" Samsung plasma) and I want a 2nd monitor. Could I just buy something like an 8400gs for $40 and throw it in the 2nd pcie slot?

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, and have a P5K deluxe.

K I just wanted to make sure that it would work if I had 2 different graphics cards.
