For $20 a year people would have went for it, but $70... c'mon... their site wasn't even that fast... talk about crappy...

It'll never be like the old adcritic before anyways...

Like hell they will ever get that for a subscription. I know I won't be falling into some scam like that. This makes me sick...

That's stupid... they should charge the advertising agencies $300 to include an add
they've created on their site.

Agreed about $20 vs. $70. Though, they don't have much, if anything, to lose since they were getting nothing to begin with.

OMG
i bought a $700 replaytv (well, i paid considerably less for it ;)) just so i wouldn't have to watch commercials, and now they want to charge $70 a year to watch them willingly? um... i think adcritic is going bye-bye again real soon...
(though i did enjoy the site when it was free)

They must be stupid, seriously.
They got together and determined that they could only go back online and stay afloat by charging.... let's see, carry the 1.... $70 a head.
Why even bother? It cost them a lot more than zero to develop a new site, set up new servers, etc. They can't possibly be expecting enough people to sign up to even recoup their initial costs.
I don't at all pity these stupid fvcks for the thousands of dollars they're about to lose.

they probably couldnt get enough advertisers to pay to put ads on the site, so they went for the people who watch the ads instead.

Welcome to the world the RIAA and Disney's Sen. Fritz want us to live in. Now we have to pay for advertisements...
