Just a heads up, the speed on these is extremely slow for a USB 3.0 device. We are talking speeds around USB 2.0 and actually slower than some of the faster USB 2.0 devices. The ones I have are slower then every single USB 2.0 flash drive I own.

You own this exact model? Can you give us benchmarks using vconsole.com 's USB Flash Drive Tester?

One Newegg review said that they were 30MB/sec read and 15MB/sec write on USB2.0, which is faster than any other USB2.0 drive I have.

Hey VirtualLarry if NeonFlak doesn't get back to us I'll be glad to test them out and report back with the numbers. I just checked the tracking and they are still in Compton CA with no eta on delivery.:\
These can't be worse than my three Lexar drives, they are so slooow. haha

Sounds good man. I'm kinda excited to see how they perform on my AM3 platform. I have a Mushkin drive that does ok but it was a lot more expensive than these.

I'm not a big fan of Team. The only usb 3.0 drive that ever died on me was a Team.
That's an ok price though for a 32gb stick though.

I just finished testing one of the drives and it's not as good as I had hoped. I used the testing tool you mention and here are the results. It's not bad but not great either. Oh well you win some you lose some.

00:00:10.88 - Started "Reading test data" for drive H: 14799MB, "ADATA, USB Flash Drive, 1100, ", 512b
00:06:16.34 - Completed "Reading test data" for drive H: 14799MB, "ADATA, USB Flash Drive, 1100, ", 512b
00:06:16.34 - Tested total 14799.999MB in 0:06:05 with 40.519MB/s
00:06:16.34 - Total read errors: Fatal=0, Recoverable=0
00:06:41.65 - -------------------------------- New test process started --------------------------------
00:06:41.66 - Started "Writing test data" for drive H: 14799MB, "ADATA, USB Flash Drive, 1100, ", 512b
00:40:03.55 - Completed "Writing test data" for drive H: 14799MB, "ADATA, USB Flash Drive, 1100, ", 512b
00:40:03.55 - Tested total 14799.999MB in 0:33:21 with 7.402MB/s
00:40:03.55 - Total write errors: Fatal=0, Recoverable=0

Hmm. 7.4MB/sec write speed is pretty disappointing. They advertise 15MB/sec.

Then again, I've seen Windows 7 file-copy speeds higher than the speeds from USB Flash drive tester. I think that the flash drive tester does individual 512byte sectors, and not 1KB or 4KB blocks.

Yep you were pretty close on the write speeds when it comes to real world testing. I just tested it on a 1.4gb file and it was a lot closer to the advertised speed. I'm using 8.1 though not 7 and I'm on an older platform(AM3).
Anyway speeds bounced around but this was the average or pretty close to it.

Was that in a USB3.0 port on your AM3(+) board?

I just copied two ISOs to one of the drives I opened, and on USB2.0, through the front ports on my case (H81M board, only two USB3.0 ports in rear), I hit as high as 11.8MB/sec copying. A bit disappointing, I was hoping to hit 14-15MB/sec over USB2.0 as per the Newegg reviews.

Sorry if these drives are slow, to anyone that purchased them on my recommendation.

I did buy max qty. myself, so it's not like I wasn't invested in this deal too.

Still twice the write speed of most of my USB2.0 drives though.

Edit: Reading the two ISOs back through the USB2.0 front ports, and copying them to my SSD, it's going 32-34MB/sec.

Edit: In a USB3.0 cable, connected to a USB3.0 rear port:
12.9MB/sec write
41.2MB/sec read

Edit: That's in Windows 7 64-bit, with Intel USB3.0 drivers for the H81 chipset.

Yep that was plugged directly into the 3.0 port on the back of my MB. Looks like your results are similar to mine. Overall not bad considering most drives never deliver their advertised speeds. These are pretty close though.

Thanks for posting your results.

These number you pointed out are not always accurate. Sometimes when my Laptop was on for a while Speeds drops alot. and sometimes the HDD will slow it down. I used to care about these but i figured it's not stable.
Good review after all :)
