Maybe they're clearancing these because they say "USB3.0" on them? (USB3.2 Gen1, USB3.1 Gen1, and USB3.0 are all the same speed and essentially the same thing.)

These S102 Pro Advanced drives from Adata are actually surprisingly good (for an Adata drive), and my experience is that they perform well for file-copies. (100MB/sec)

This isn't exactly a "superb" price, but for the money spent, these are decent, and semi-premium drives, although I'm sure that the really super-premium drives would likely out-perform these. I like the size/shape of these as well, even though they use a cap, and it's likely to get lost. (Though, the cap does fit on the back end of the drive as well.)

Edit: If you are just looking for capacity for price, with a nominally-USB3.0 interface, Team Group has their 188 and 186 model USB3.0 flash drives with sliders, 128GB for around $10-12 as well. But they don't perform as well as these Adata S102 Pro Advanced drives.

These drives are horrible ultra slow. Copies 20gb in 20 mins. Tested with various files, same results. Probably why they are so cheap.

Sorry that you didn't have satisfactory results. It seems that Adata has changed the controller/NAND from when these drives were first introduced. It used to be a fast, high-quality drive.

I'm not even going to waste my time testing them. Going into the microwave then the recycling bin.

Lol! Reminds me of these free "USB 3.0" 32gb drives I got as a bonus for buying something off of amazon. These things were so awful it was comical. Read wasn't that bad but writes would constantly drop down to 1mb/s during a large file transfer. Truly just trash.
