I just got in on these printer deals and I got one PC that only has a parallel port and no USB's. I am wondering if theres anything I can get to make the printer work on this PC cause the printer is one that only has the USB connection on it. I know I could buy a USB card but I am looking for another option such as an adapter. Any ideas? thanks everyone

The only adapter I know is opposite that you need:
USB on PC side to Parallel on Printer side

I dont think anyone making like you need, but if yes it will cost $30-50.
For $15-$20 get PCI USB port card for your PC.

Why PC does not have USB? 5+ years old?

Yes, the computer is an old 166 pentium. the Motherboard has been replaced and so my riser card no longer works so I can not add any PCI cards to it. Thats why I am asking about a converter. Its like my third system down the line and only used for word processing and stuff. Thanks everyone
