adaptec's "Go Back"--Anybody use it?

Hi!!

Has anyone got Adaptec's Go Back? I am thinking of purchasing it when I upgrade in a few weeks. Does it take alot of hard drive space? Does it affect game performance. Please let me know what you think of it and if you have had any problems with it.

I used Go BAck for about 6 months. For me, I was just getting to the point where I could only fix about 1/2 of my problems. It works well as long as you don't use the Go back feature alot.It seemed to me that it got corrupted after a while.
During set- up , you are asked how much space you wish to dedicate to the files. It makes boot up considerably longer. Also, if you try to use any type of HD mirroring software like Disk Copy, or even the Max Blast software that comes with a Maxtor drive, you get a "unknown drive config. error", and you can't copy your drive without deleting the image that Go Back stored.
I think it is an excellent product for someone with beginner to intermediate skills, but you will eventually want to remove it, because you will feel the need for speed
