Hi all, prepping for my upcoming upgrade of the PC in my sig.....

I intend to use the raid 5 array for the o/s and sata in Raid 0 for games partition along with Q9450, 4Gb dominator,a 9600GT together with DS3P mobo.

However I am concerned that Adaptec doesnt have a Vista driver on their web site and I cant see the controller on Vista Hardware compatiblilty list....

Anyone have any knowledge if this Raid controller is supported.

The 4 drive array looks wicked in my case and the performance isnt too shabby either. I would hate to have to lose it.....I may have to waive Vista and stay 2Gb XP!

Help please....
 
Pop the Vista DVD in and try to install. If you can see the partition when you are installing it then you are good.

If you have a friend that has a vista cd try starting the install and see if it does in fact dectect it, just to ease your mind.
