adaptec easy CD creator...

hey,

i currently use version 3.5a...i just got 4.01 so i can drag and drop mp3 files...to those who know their stuff about it, how good is the mp3 to wave decoder that's built into easy cd 4.01?

also should i uninstall 3.5a before installing 4.01 or just install it over?...TIA
 
Easy CD-Creator is okay. Whether or not you uninstall 3.5a before you upgrade depends on which operating system you're using. If you're using Win2K you should (according to info at Adaptec's site) uninstall the earlier version before upgrading. If you're using some variation of Win9X, including ME, then just install the upgrade right on top of 3.5a.

FYI: I just tried NTI CD-Maker 2000 Professional tonight. It's interface is very similar to Easy CD-Creator. It installed easily and did a perfect burn for me.
