I got this card a while back, but never tested it until now.
probably been 2 months.

I assumed that I'd boot from cdrom in my new system (KT7 Raid, Duron 650).
But there's a problem with it.
The only thing it'll detect out of my 2 seperate comps, is my burner.
It won't detect HD's and cdrom's.
Any idea's on how to fix it?

I know everything is working, because I've double checked it with my working SCSI card.

Anybody have any idea's?
 
that's kinda weird, all I have is a SCSI DVD and CDRW on mine, never tried a HD on it. you may have already checked, but the only thing I can think of is to check for updated firmware on the website. Come to think of it, I never could boot from either drive and just thought that this card doesn't support booting from CD, am I wrong here?
 
I believe it has a BIOS chip on it...which makes my problem even wierder.
Anyways, I'm going to return it and pickup another adaptec card...
